It's never quite the same in a picture as in person, but his lips are quite swollen and stuck out compared to normal. This is the morning after Tom pushed him into a metal bench.
This picture shows just how swollen the upper lip is. When Sam smiles, the lips pull back and the large swollen part on the upper lip has no where to go but down over his teeth. Gross and painful looking, but Sam is handling it like a champ.
You can see how swollen the bottom lip is here. I'm hoping it will be better tomorrow and not bother him as much.
Poor baby! You really are amazing for handling it so well! I guess you give your guys confidence to handle things like this well themselves. Good for you. Hugs (not kisses just yet) to Sam!
