RAAF Defense Air Show

We spent all day Saturday at the air show.  This plane is the Wedgetail.  It's the entire reason that we are here in Australia.  This plane was built by Boeing and has Northrup Grumman radar.  Lovely thing, isn't it.
We arrived at the show around 9:30 in the morning.  It was a bit chilly and the kids really weren't dressed for a chilly wind.  They complained for awhile about being cold, but there wasn't anything we could do.  We walked around and looked at so many aircraft.   There were also a few trucks around too.
At 12:30, they started the air portion of the show with lots of flying planes and helicopters.  The boys were completely bored by this point and wanted to go home.  The whining made me want to go home, but Jay wanted to watch...so we stayed and watched.

At least by airshow time, it had warmed up and the boys weren't cold.  And strangely enough, they all talked about what a great time they had by the time we got home.  Like they had forgotten that they were unhappy while we were there.
Gotta love it.
