Goodness, I can't wait to get out of this hotel. We are so sleep deprived! Our room is right next to the sport court, which is supposed to close at 9 pm. However, people are still playing basketball much later. Of course, we can hear them playing basketball so the boys struggle with going to sleep.
Then, poor Tom is too tired to wake up and has wet the bed the last 4 nights. He wakes up wet around 4:30 in the morning and wakes me up as well. We don't have any extra sheets to put on the bed or anything so we have to try to work something out for him to go back to sleep. He wouldn't this morning and just spent the next 2 hours complaining. He woke Sam up around 6:30, just before falling back to sleep himself. I didn't get any sleep after 4:20 this morning.
Not that I am sleeping well anyway. I have never been a big fan of having a tv in the bedroom. While it is simple for Jay to fall asleep with the tv on, I cannot. I tend to actually watch whatever is on and have a hard time ignoring it. Also, the temperature swings too much. Either we are freezing or roasting. When the air is on, we freeze. But if the air is not running, we start to roast. For some reason, the thermostat has a wide swing to it. If we have it set for 72, it won't kick on until it is about 76 in here. Then it runs until it is 70. No happy medium.
I don't really mean to be complaining so much. It is hunger and sleep deprivation. Tom fell back to sleep at 6:30 and it now 8:45. We are still waiting for him to wake up so we can eat breakfast.
On a really good note, the house is pretty much cleaned up and ready to go. The movers accidentally packed the rug runners that were supposed to go on the stairs so we have to buy some more. But, floors are repaired and wall dings repainted. We just need to clean up the yard a little and we will be ready to go.

Still chugging along
We're still here, just passing time. Every morning, Jay and Joe get up, eat breakfast and head to the house. Joe then catches the bus while Jay works until Joe gets home from school. Tom, Sam and I eat breakfast and drive to the house for a few hours. They play in the yard while I do a few odd jobs here and there. They get pretty bored of the yard and tired of playing with each other by about 1pm. We then eat lunch, go to the park, and the finally head back to the hotel. The maid is usually cleans our room from 2-2:30 so we stay out until 3. Since I don't spend a lot of time at our house, I don't feel that I get much done. Jay is going well though. We've got the three upstairs bedrooms just about ready to paint. I plan on painting them on Sunday and Tuesday.
We are headed to my mom's again tonight. My brother and his wife will be in town starting late tonight. We'll stay there until Sunday morning.
I can't believe that we have two more weeks of living in the hotel here. In some ways, I think "holy crap! We are leaving in only two weeks" and it doesn't feel like we have much time left. Then I think "holy crap! Two more weeks of sleeping in this hotel before we fly to another hotel." Hotel living is pretty crappy. The hotel pool opens this weekend so that will be a little better. Hopefully, we'll get some warm days to actually enjoy it.

Hotel living
So, as of last night, we are in a hotel. It is a very large suite. Practically the size of our upstairs. Add one more bedroom, and we'd be right at home. Our suite is two full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (more than our house), a living room, small full kitchen, and an eating area. There are certainly a lot of problems with living in a small space, but we'll manage.
My sister babysat the boys for me yesterday. She happens to be in town from Idaho. Joe and I drove over yesterday evening and had dinner with my parents.
Our house was empty by 11 on Tuesday. It's very strange to see it with nothing in it. Now to start on the hard work of getting the house ready for selling. We need to repaint some stuff and fix the wood floors.
The kids were up too early this morning. Sam woke up at 5:30 and he woke both Joe and Tom up. Of course, we woke up as well. Hopefully, this won't happen everyday.
