We looked at the house again today and we do plan to put an offer on it if we can. We have to wait until Jay gets back from Australia. Keep your fingers crossed that the house will still be there!
We went out to dinner this evening after the showing. Joe is learning about the Revoluntionary War and has lots of questions about this. While talking about it, Joe mentioned that none of us were alive and we agreed that we weren't born yet. He then proudly proclaimed (in a very loud voice) that only African Americans were alive then. We then explained that he was incorrect. He then proclaimed that not many people died in the War because it all took place outside and that if the war had been inside then more people would have gotten hurt. Jay and I are both curious as how Joe has this slightly skewed view of history. It's certainly amusing even though it is incorrect. On a really good note, Joe got a green at school today!
Tommy plowed through his dinner today, finished Joe's and ate part of Jay's. I hope he is not getting into another growth spurt. He is only a tiny bit smaller than Joe and is catching up fast.
Tommy, Joe, and Sammy were having a discussion in the car and Tom said "you're not the boss" to Joe. Sammy then piped up "I da boss!" Jay and I laughed so then Sammy hopped up and down in his carseat for the next several miles, repeating over and over again "I da boss!" In a lot of ways, he is correct!
Sammy is most definitely "da boss!"
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the house!
