Well, I was all keyed up to go see this house in Carroll County tonight. Our realtor just called and said that the house is going under contract tonight at 6 pm. We are more than welcome to go see it, but we would only have 48 hours to move on it and we would have to have a non-contingent contract. Well, in 48 we wouldn't be ready and we would have to have a contingent contract so we canceled our appointment to go see it. What the hell! The market is supposed to be really slow right now, but this house has been on the market only since the 1st of March- less than 2 weeks.
Crud.
So now we are back to having nothing in our price range and is in driving range for Jay and has good schools. ugh!
And of course, I had already packed our picnic dinner and told Joe's school that I am picking him up early and I have no plans for anything else tonight besides seeing this house. My house is a mess and dirty, but I was going to be able to slide by another day because we were going to be busy tonight. Now I am going to have to clean and I really really just have no interest in cleaning right now.
