Today

Today did not start off great at all!
Sammy woke up while I was in the shower. Jay was still sleeping and did not really hear Sam get up. We haven't had a problem with Sam and his diapers since we moved him to his big boy bed. I got out of the shower and Sam was trying to get his door open while saying "eewww" and "yuck".
I opened the door to find Sam mostly naked and covered in poop. He had gotten up and tried to change his own diaper. He took his pj's off and climbed up onto the chair in his room to reach the wipes off the dresser and then sat on the floor and tried to wipe himself. His diaper was still mostly on (he had pulled it down quite a bit).
Unfortunately, he got poop everywhere all over his room. Jay and Sammy hit the shower while I got to scrub the room. Of course, Sam's new rug was all gross, his chair, his door, his walls, his bed, everything. Yuck!
Lunchtime was a very historic moment for our country and the two youngest boys and I watched President Obama while we ate our lunch. Joe got to watch it at school and was really interested in the whole thing. My mom and sister stood in the crowds in DC and got to witness it all first hand (though couldn't see anything!)
I have several Gatherings for Close To My Heart coming up and was requested that I design a Valentine's Day card for the make and take. For some reason, I have crafting block. I make a few things and hate them. I showed them to Jay and he pretty much agreed with me that they weren't very good. Ahhh! So frustrated since I have a party on Friday and Sunday and I need a project for them.
I did do something to day that has been needing done for a few years. I finally changed my primary care doctor. I have strongly disliked my doctor every since I met her several years ago. I just am lazy and have never gotten around to changing it. I finally did! I am really hoping that I like the new doctor better. I will go to her for the first time next week. I am having a fair number of minor and not so minor health problems. My husband is completely convinced that I have a few major diseases. My most major issue is the pain in my arms and hands. If I could get rid of that, I would for the most part be fine. We'll see if the new doctor actually cares about my issues and helps me.
